Helen Ruth Breeden, 92, of Southern Louisville peacefully passed from this life on September 14, 2017 at Hosparus of Norton Hospital. She worked for International Harvester and PNC Bank, and was a 40 year member of Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church. Mrs. Breeden was preceded in death by her husband, Cotton Breeden; an infant daughter, Sandra Louise Breeden, and a brother, Curtis Ray Young. Mrs. Breeden is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Fox (Carl) and Nancy Sue Crane (Doug); a son Al Breeden (Deb); brothers, Richard Young (Rita) and Albert Young; grandchildren, Kelly Baxter (Ronnie), Kim Kayrouz (Kim Hobbs), Kristi Wiser (David), Danny Breeden, Don Breeden (Kristin), Jenni Defler (Kerry), David Breeden (Sarah), and Lance Crane (Tara); great grandchildren, Nickolas, Dillon, Maggie, Jonathan, Luke, Hannah, Josh, Maddi, Jacob, Bryce, Brady, Logan, Becca, Lily, McKenzie, Ansleigh, Nate, Ethan, and Haleigh; great great granddaughter, Jolene. A celebration of Mrs. Breeden's life will be held on Sunday at 2:00 pm in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Private entombment will be on Monday at Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 3-7 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
